Kegs for Cal-Wood

Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 7:00pm

Rembrandt Yard

1301 Spruce Street, Boulder, CO

Join us for an informal evening with new and old friends of Cal-Wood in support of a great cause. Taste craft beers from 8 Front Range brewers. Sample cheese, chocolate and variety of local food paired to complement the brew.

Donate to enter raffles for fabulous gift baskets with items from brewers, food artisans, restaurants and other local purveyors.

Each year more than 3,600 students from the Front Range live at Cal-Wood for three days, exploring our unique 1,200-acre classroom.  More than one third of our students come from schools in low-income neighborhoods.

We hope you will help us reach even more students in need!

Cal-Wood Education Center

Cal-Wood Education Center is a non-profit environmental education center in the foothills above Jamestown that has served the Front Range community for nearly 30 years.  Our instructors utilize innovative educational techniques in science, Colorado history, literacy & math, to teach and inspire young people and adults so they can develop a new relationship with the environment.

Most fifth graders from the Boulder Valley School District have made great memories at Cal-Wood. Many schools from the St. Vrain Valley School District, Aurora Public Schools and others across the Front Range visit Cal-Wood every year.

Cal-Wood's primary fundraising focus is to support low-income and underserved schools from the Front Range visit the mountains for an impactful educational experience in nature.  Many students who attend Cal-Wood are English language learners and inner-city children who might not otherwise visit the mountains.
